Erasmus+ Ceremony
In Florence the Hotel School meets the European Commissioner Androulla Vassiliou.
On April 10th, in the Room at the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, it was the ceremony of new European program 2014-2020 Erasmus+ called: “Changing life open your mind”, that will finance in the next 7 years over 4 million of training internship across Europe – 350,000 of them for Italian students – as stated by European Commissioner for Education and Vocational Training Androulla Vassiliou.
The new program includes all action of the past 25 years, like Leonardo da Vinci program for all abroad internships and from now it will be called Erasmus, too.
The financial planning, over 14 billion euros, is divided into three different actions for Education, Vocational Training and Sport.
The Vocational Training Agency “Colline Astigiane” – Hotel School – told, in this event, about its positive experience, gained over the past 7 years. During this time 350 students and ex-students could have a scholarship of foreign mobility, lasting one or three months.
During this event, our institutional video was shown by our Vocational Training Agency, while our student Samuele Schiavinato told his internship experience in Malta in front of the Minister of Education, University and Research Mrs Stefania Giannini, the secretary of Minister of Labour and Social Policy Franca Biondelli, the Vice Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella, the Directors of Indire and ISFOL Agencies and the European Commissioner Androulla Vassilliou.
This prestigious invitation, reserved for project excellence, is an important recognition for all international activities of this Hotel School and a motivation to update objectives and to offer our students more and better training and vocational opportunities, not only in the local area, but also abroad.
Present at the event the President Mr Dino Aluffi, the Manager Mrs Lucia Barbarino and the coordinator of project Mr Matteo Gazzarata.
